Welcome to Notelog [noht-log], the premier online social document sharing platform used for sharing academic knowledge on college campuses worldwide. Notelog's growing number of users ("noteloggers") consists of students, professors, publishers, and experts located around the world all collaborating to create the world's largest collection of college notes, knowledge, and know-how!
Mission Statement: The idea is simple; everyone is an expert at something! Collaborate to graduate! Study smarter not harder!
Notelog is a place where you can seamlessly share what you have learned with others, get feedback on research or projects, and most importantly learn and have access to unlimited amounts of notes, knowledge, and know-how all for free! We are innovating the way notes are taken, viewed, and shared, the way knowledge is distributed, and most importantly making the most of what others have learned by passing it on to others. Knowledge should be free and not limited to the walls of a classroom, which is why we have created a portal for academic collaboration on a worldwide scale for everyone to access.
The Story: Founders Mike Fingado and Cedric Nabe met at the Florida State University in 2005 where they were both members of the three-time National Champion track and field team. It was as student-athletes that they were embedded with the importance of time management and teamwork (collaboration). They felt an overwhelming desire to spread this importance to their fellow teammates, classmates, and anyone who wanted to be more efficient at any task. Mike and Cedric sought out to find a way to more efficiently focus on their own studies. After spending semester after semester in overcrowded campus libraries among sleep deprived, stressed out classmates, they realized that what they and others were seeking did not yet exist. This motivated them to be proactive, prompting them to create what Notelog has grown into today; the leading collaborative academic social document site dedicated to making students and professors more successful in their studies, research, and ultimately lives.
