img Best College for the Money
Posted By : mfingado On 03-13-2011 13:56PM

Description :

Kiplinger, USA Today, Princeton Review have a yearly list of the best value schools. The universities consistantly ranked among all of their lists are: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Florida, University of Virginia. I attented Florida State it makes the top 20 list. Florida in general has a great valued university education system. I would suggest go to the best valued school. Having a 100k+ in loans in return for an entry level career does not add up, especially in this economy. In fact if you are going to borrow that much you might want to consider starting your own company, I did.

img HP Slate vs Apple iPad

Description :

I would go with the HP Slate because HP has had a touchscreen laptop out for a couple years now and with my experience it is a great product. The HP Slate will be better for college students more so than the Apple iPad because of the touch screen technologies of HP and Windows 7. Apples iPad will be limited by its memory which at only 16gb (for $500) will fill up quickly. I currently own a HP touch screen laptop and taking notes digitally is so easy and my handwriting can even be converted into text!

I would go with companies in the technology sector that are innovating and launching new products. Companies like Apple (AAPL) or Microsoft (MSFT) would be safe picks. Choose ones that you personally use every day i.e. company of the car you drive, clothes you wear, etc...At least by choosing these you will be interested in the stocks you invest in.

I saw the movie in both 3D and IMAX and would say they are about the same in my opinion.
