HP's Slate: Perfect for College Students Using Notelog.com

The HP Slate with its Adobe Flash and Air support and Windows 7 is the perfect device for digitally taking class notes on notelog.com and reading e-books. This video shows some of its capabilities and there are plenty more videos on youtube. It's worth noting that the Apple iPad is not flash compatible making it useless for much of the internet's best websites and applications.

I would go with the HP Slate because HP has had a touchscreen laptop out for a couple years now and with my experience it is a great product. The HP Slate will be better for college students more so than the Apple iPad because of the touch screen technologies of HP and Windows 7. Apples iPad will be limited by its memory which at only 16gb (for $500) will fill up quickly. I currently own a HP touch screen laptop and taking notes digitally is so easy and my handwriting can even be converted into text!
